My name is Karisa, I started my pet services off on Rover, after growing up doing them for family. I quickly decided I want to run my own business and my wife helped me make it happen. We have occasionally fostered dogs and cats, even once a litter of 8 rescue puppies and their momma. I have experience training deaf dogs, puppies, service dogs, and basic / advanced commands. I can do medication administration including oral and injection. I also have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, from newborn to senior. I've got experience with other animals too. Like horses, pigs, cows, ferrets, rats, geckos, birds, etc. I also worked as a dog groomer for a family friend, so I have experience with bathing and grooming!
I know pet First Aid and CPR. I am extremely familiar with dogs that have anxiety, agression, and reactivity. If you have a dog that fits into those categories who needs walking, bathing, or sitting, I am more than happy to help!
I am available pretty much all day every day. And can usually work with any schedule needed. If your pet enjoys the company of other dogs, I can bring one of mine to join a walk or a drop in. (With your consent)
I will always make your pet's safety a priority when they are in my care. Any instructions given will be carefully read and followed. Pictures can be sent, updates given, and lots of pets of course. Treats too if given permission first!
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, medical conditions, or behavioral things that I should know about beforehand. Or if you feel there is anything else I would need to know!
Sometimes bookings for drop ins get pretty full and I get requests for the same times. If your times are flexible at all, please let me know how flexible so I can accommodate other bookings as well if I need to. If they are NOT flexible, that is absolutely okay and I will be there at the needed time!
My wife, Emily, helps me at the drop ins, walks, and with grooming if I need an extra hand. She is so supportive and enjoys being around the animals just as much as I do. She grew up with dogs in her home, and is very familiar with the different needs of dogs with different temperaments. She’s knowledgable on dogs with anxiety, agression, and reactivity as well. She has assisted in training my service dog, and is great at it! She’s truly amazing with animals.
